Cane & Grain is a hip New York style bar in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. It is set over three floors, each have a slightly different feel, but all serve The Rib Shack menu. The Rick Shack menu is made up of burgers, sandwiches, ribs and snacks, with sample dishes including the pork rib meat burger with BBQ sauce, and the baby back ribs. The sauces to accompany the dishes are particularly unusual and include Dr Pepper, Tangy BBQ and Hot as F*ck. Their drinks menu has an impressive list of cocktails and beers.

About Dogs 'n' Dough

Dogs ‘n’ Dough serves what its name says: hotdogs and pizza. Their hotdogs are made from 100 beef and served in a brioche bun with a selection of toppings available, including house chilli, cajun onions, and many more. The pizza menu includes inventive topping combinations such as The Taco pizza with seasoned beef, cherry tomatoes, lettuce, Doritos and sour cream, and The Greek pizza with feta, sunblushed tomatoes, black olives and red onion. They also have an impressive drinks menu which includes a range of inventive cocktails, craft beers, wine, milkshakes, American sodas, and spirits from around the world.

About Infamous Diner

Entering Infamous Diner in the Northern Quarter you may think you’ve stepped on to the set of vintage tv show Happy Days or the movie Grease; the read leatherette booths, chequered flooring, shiny chrome stools and full skirt clad waitresses make you feel like you’ve gone back in time to the 1950s. The menu, packed with burgers, hot dogs and shakes, echoes the feel good retro vibe. Those who love a foodie challenge can try Infamous’s 21 pancake challenge.

About Koreana Restaurant

Opened in 1985, Koreana was the first Korean restaurant outside London. A family run business launched by Alex and Hyun Kim, Hyun supervises the kitchen as head chef, using experienced gained from her parents who run a thriving banqueting resort in Korea. The menu is filled with traditional Korean dishes such as bulgogi, bibimbap and japchae. Korean beers and soju, a Korean spirit, is available for an authentic accompaniment to the meal.

About Nawaab

Nawaab serves Indian and Pakistani food in an elegant setting in Levenshulme. All the food in the restaurant is halal. There is a wide range of dishes catering to both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Appetisers include the fish masala, seekh kebabs and onion bhajis. All the favourites curries are on the main course section of the menu including Nawaab’s award winning creamy Niralli Special. To finish your meal there is a selection of authentic Asian sweets. Nawaan does not serve alcohol but the bar serves a wide range of delicious and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks.
