About 1051 GWR

Originally a Victorian railway station, 1051 GWR serves up cocktails, craft beers and elevated pub grub in a multi-stored property on Great Western Road. The landmark Category B sandstone building is designed in the 19th century Beaux Art style and inside, carriage-style booth seating conjures up its romantic railway heritage. Visitors can also drink, dine and watch the world go by in the garden area.

About Avant Garde

An inviting space with a cool, contemporary décor, Avant Garde is a lively music bar and restaurant on King Street in the Merchant City. Biblos is on Chambers Street in the atmospheric Old Town. Handy for Edinburgh Uni, and with licensing hours which are very popular with students, Biblos is open from breakfast until the small hours.
