16th century splendour

Once the grand, turreted home of a Scottish laird, Dalmunzie Castle in Highland Perthshire is now an elegant mountain-view hotel.

Although it is only a two hour drive from Glasgow or Edinburgh, the 6500-acre estate feels like a whole other world. Guests can make the most of the nine-hole golf course, tennis court and hiking trails.

The hotel is right on the doorstep of Cairngorms National Park, with the Glenshee Ski Centre and Pitlochry close by.

Romantic getaway

The Deal is for a one or two night stay for two, with a full Scottish breakfast each morning.

There’s the option to add on a £50 food & drink spend per couple, for use on one night, and all options include a late check-out of noon.

You can enjoy your stay seven days a week from October 2024 until April 2025, with a £50 supplement per night for Friday and Saturday night stays.

Deluxe rooms & delicious dining

Each of the individually decorated rooms are filled with antiques and includes tea & coffee making facilities, bottled water, luxury toiletries and free WiFi.

The restaurant serves indulgent Scottish cuisine such as mussels with chorizo, cider, cream, dill and toasted sourdough and roasted cod fillet with sweet potato curry, fennel bhaji, candied cashews and pickled carrots.

After dining you can relax with a dram in the library, snug bar or one of the wood-panelled lounges.

Important Information

The Deal is for 2 people to stay in a standard double or twin room with full Scottish breakfast each morning + late check-out.

Option 1 is for an overnight stay.

Option 2 is for an overnight stay + £50 per couple food & drink spend.

Option 3 is for a 2 night stay + £50 per couple food & drink spend on the 1st evening.

Rooms may be upgraded to a four poster room for a £25 per room, per night supplement. Please contact the hotel directly to discuss upgrades, as these are subject to availability and a noted request does not guarantee an upgrade.

£50 per couple food & drink allowance must be used in one visit. There will be no refunds of unused credit and credit may not be carried forward.

Vegetarian, gluten/wheat/dairy-free options are available – please advise when booking. Tables required back after 2 hours.

Multiple purchases permitted and may be used consecutively. Must be purchased and booked separately.

Check-in from 3pm; late check-out of noon.

All children stay free up to 5yrs old. Aged 6 plus charged at £30 per night. All meals charged as taken. Up to 1 child max; discuss directly with the hotel.

In certain circumstances, 1 well behaved dog may be allowed for a £10 per day supplement. Please be aware that Dalmunzie Castle Hotel is in a farming and hunting area. Your dog must be leashed and under control at all times. The hotel does not accept any responsibility or liability for your pets.
