Tucked away up a cobbled residential street in St. George’s Cross, Raunak Raseel has the feeling of being a secret find.
The kitchen team are devoted to bringing authentic Indian cooking to the Glasgow curry scene, using only traditional recipes and fresh, wholesome ingredients.
Inside, you will find simple, laidback decor that keeps your attention focused firmly on the flavours on the plate.
Raunak Raseeli serves up a wide range of Indian dishes, from sizzling Delhi street favourites like daal makhani to Scottish curry house classics like tikka masala.
The menu provides traditional Indian curries, seafood curries, veggie curries and ‘Glesga favourites’ such as bhoona, chasni and korma.
Regional treats include chilli chicken from Nepal, king prawn ginger lime achari from Punjab and creamy paneer & potato balls (malai kofta) from Northern India.
The restaurant is around a five-minute walk from St. George’s Cross underground and around the corner from Woodlands Community Garden.
Both The Stand Comedy Club and Kelvingrove Park are roughly a 10-minute walk away.
