GoGrill is the restaurant at GoGlasgow Urban Hotel on Paisley Road West. The restaurant specialises in dishes that make the best of national produce with menus rooted in Scottish seas, farms and grazing lands. Minimalist decor and black & white photography on the walls create a stylish setting for enjoying the cuisine. As GoGrill is within walking distance of various venues like The Hydro, it is also a great pre-event dining choice.
GoGrill serves a seasonal combination of classic Scottish cuisine and pub grub favourites with a distinctly Glaswegian twist. The emphasis is on great Scottish produce, especially seafood.
The grill selection is cooked in a state-of-the-art Josper charcoal grill for a more intense flavour. All steaks are hung on the bone for seven days and then dry aged a further 28 days.
The potato scone nachos are already becoming renowned and the chef’s twist on a sharing platter — the chip shop platter — combines Glasgow’s chippie favourites with homemade Laphroaig whisky mayo for dipping.
Menus can change, but other mains might include the seared scallops, the whole-roasted sea bass and the grilled marinated chicken.
