We had visitors and brought them here. We had to eat late so we ate from the a la carte, which was full of excellent choices, and we appreciated the selection of amuse-bouches we were presented with.

A two minute walk from Kelvingrove Park, and just around the corner from the main Finnieston strip, Beneroti is a smart, contemporary restaurant on Sauchiehall Street. Stripped stone walls, candles and flower displays help make a warm, intimate atmosphere. The service is a good balance of semi-formal professionalism and relaxed friendliness.
Top quality, fresh, locally sourced ingredients underpin the menus at Beneroti Restaurant. There is a strong Italian touch in the kitchen which shows itself in starters like the bruschetta and main courses such as the squid ink spaghetti with seafood; the range of pizza and the carbonara made with fresh egg tagliatelle.
From steak and ale pie to fish ‘n’ chips and burgers, there are plenty of bar classics on offer. More complex dishes include the duck breast with poached pear and a thyme and honey sauce. Seafood options include the fillet of sea bass with herb-crushed, baby new potatoes, Scottish asparagus tips and sautéed prawns. More carnivorous options might be the lamb rump with dauphinoise potatoes or our old friend, the sirloin steak with hand-cut chips and your choice of sauces.
Beneroti Restaurant is at the Kelvingrove Park end of Sauchiehall Street. Kelvinhall is the nearest subway station and the restaurant is roughly equidistant between the Charing Cross and Exhibition Centre train stations. There is restricted on-street parking by the restaurant. The Hydro, Kelvingrove Gallery and Art Museum and the SECC are all within a fifteen minute walk.
