Food and service were excellent, great value for money. We even turned our free bet into £50 for the kitty. All round good night had by all.

Based on Glassford Street, Grosvenor Casino and Grill – Merchant City is a sleek, contemporary entertainment space. Open 24/7, the restaurant is decorated in a retro-chic style and serves up a range of contemporary dishes, with premium grill items as a speciality. There, diners can enjoy a relaxed, informal meal while surrounded by the thrill and buzz of the casino. The Grosvenor also has two bars, one of which boasts wraparound city views and the biggest HD plasma screen in Scotland.
The restaurant’s signature grill range is right at the heart of the menu and includes a great choice of premium steaks. Each is cooked simply and served with a choice of sauce as well as salad, skin-on fries, roast plum tomato and sautéed button mushrooms. Cuts include fillet, sirloin, rump and Dukesmoor rib-eye.
The menu also offers a wide selection of dishes showcasing flavours from around the world. These include small plates such as the crispy spiced lamb dumplings, the za’atar chicken skewers and the fried calamari. The speciality roast rump of lamb was developed by Celebrity Masterchef 2017, Angelica Bell, while other options include the steamed sea bass fillets and the roast vegetable couscous.
There is also a good range of wines available, as well as quality beers and cocktails.
Grosvenor Casino and Grill – Merchant City is on Glassford Street, a ten-minute walk from Glasgow Central Station and St. Enoch underground. Numerous bus routes pass by the venue and there is also a taxi rank outside. It is worth noting that the Casino has a Challenge 25 entry policy, so guests who appear to be aged 25 or under will be asked to show a passport or driving licence.
