The bar and restaurant in the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel is located in the Dalmuir area of Clydebank, to the northwest of Glasgow. Overlooking the River Clyde, the restaurant uses quality, seasonal produce sourced locally to create predominantly Scottish dishes on their menus. The Beardmore Hotel Bar & Restaurant is wheelchair accessible and also offers highchairs for guests attending with children.
The restaurant’s menus proudly display the names of their local suppliers for various meats, potatoes and fish that are used to create the array of dishes prepared by the chefs. Despite its name, the bar menu does not feature typical ‘pub grub’. Instead, on offer are items such as chicken liver parfait with spiced fruit chutney; baked potato gnocchi with broccoli, pine nuts and topped with mozzarella; with a selection of sandwiches available on a choice of brown, white or gluten-free bread or a wrap.
Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel’s restaurant menu is equally appealing with dishes such as the cream of watercress soup with blue cheese puffs; the confit fillet of sea bass with smoked new potato and petit vegetable ratatouille; or the spiced polenta cake with spiced carrot crisp, roasted carrot and carrot coulis. Rib eye and sirloin steaks are also available, and are served with potatoes or homemade chips, tomato and peppered onion rings.
Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel is on Beardmore Street in Clydebank, a few miles from Glasgow. There is ample free parking on-site, and rail transport links to Glasgow can be found a 10 minute walk away at Dalmuir train station. Nearby Dumbarton Road has a number of bus stops with regular services to Glasgow, Dumbarton, Balloch and Helensburgh.
