The Slug and Lettuce in Glasgow is a cool and contemporary bar and restaurant centrally located in the business district of Glasgow. With large windows, some booth seating and an outside terrace, it is a great place for catching up with friends or watching the world go by over nibbles and a glass of something frosty. The extensive cocktail list has many fans.
Open for brunch, lunch, dinner and all points in between, The Slug and Lettuce offers party buffet menus as well as a range of a la carte options. The dishes are a global pick and mix of bar food favourites and popular choices from further afield.
There are numerous pies, burgers and pasta options. From chicken curry to beer-battered fish and chips, there are many old friends which sit alongside more exotic choices such as Lebanese style chicken flatbreads and Philly steak sandwiches. There is a grill selection of steaks and skewers plus a range of smaller plates containing fewer than 500 calories. Desserts, such as the salted chocolate and caramel bar, provide temptation from the straight and narrow.
The Slug and Lettuce is on St Vincent Street in Glasgow city centre. Central and Queen Street transport hubs are a ten minute walk. As well as pay parking on Waterloo Street, there is restricted on-street parking. Nearby attractions include King Tut’s concert venue and the Buchanan Galleries.
