We went for a late lunch for a friend's birthday. It was quiet when we arrived but quickly became very busy with office workers after 5pm. This did not affect the standard of service we received which was excellent. The 2 for £22 deal is amazing value for money and the food and cocktails were fantastic! I will be returning very soon and telling everyone I know to do the same.

Strata is a chic but comfortable bar-restaurant set on Queen Street in the heart of Glasgow’s City Centre.
Strata’s menu is a combination of traditional pub grub and restaurant fare, served in an innovative, modern manner, which caters to all tastes.
Signature dishes vary from pan roast chicken with haggis and peppercorn sauce to the steak sandwich with fresh chilli and fiery horseradish mayo.
Strata has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which is usually very relaxed but also bustling in the evenings due to its city centre location, with a live DJ on Friday and Saturday evenings after 9pm.
This makes it the ideal venue for a meal but also to enjoy a drink.
Strata’s award winning bar staff are able to create a variety of cocktails and there are also a wide variety of fine wines, premium lagers and spirits on offer.
It was the recipient of Dram Magazine’s “Best New Bar 2012” award.
Strata is set on Queen Street in the centre of Glasgow, just off shopping hubs Buchanan Street and the St. Enoch Centre and walking distance from the landmark George Square.
It has excellent transport links, with Glasgow Queen Street, Glasgow Central and Argyle Street Train Stations close by.
