Fab afternoon tea, really quite amazing, included unlimited coffee or tea and you could have any choice of coffee. We opted for decaff cappuccinos, would highly recommend and we do love La Bonne Auberge any time of the day, they also do a great brunch menu.

Since opening in 1975, La Bonne Auberge in Glasgow’s city centre has been a popular spot for fans of French and Mediterranean style food. La Bonne Auberge has pleased generations of Glasgow diners, especially pre-show visitors to the nearby theatre district.
Its food and decor have also moved with the times. At the end of 2012, it was given a dramatic makeover and, as well as stylish, contemporary looks, it also features rare art works by the Glaswegian artist George Wylie.
The regularly changing menus combine traditional dishes with more eye-catching options. Popular dishes among 5pm Dining customers include the Moroccan spiced lamb fillet with marinated tomatoes, potatoes, cucumber and peppers with baby gem salad and mint yoghurt dressing, and the Gressingham duck breast with chilli and ginger noodles, basil, mushrooms and Thai vegetable salad.
As members of the Scotch Beef Club, La Bonne Auberge deliver the finest steaks to diners.
La Bonne Auberge is located in the Theatreland area of Glasgow, situated next to Buchanan bus station and a short walk from Cowcaddens and Buchanan Street subway stations. With Cineworld around the corner and theatres and shopping malls a short walk away, La Bonne Auberge is ideal for diners who look for restaurants close by for a pre or post activity meal.
