I loved the seafood dishes I selected, especially the smoked trout and coley. The cheesecake was delicious. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. I would return.

Kelp serves up sustainable Scottish seafood with a gourmet twist, accompanied by cocktails and seasonal wines. Beautifully presented dishes and vibrant sea-themed art make this a stylish spot to enjoy the best of Scotland’s ocean bounty. That said, those who aren’t a big fan of fish will find choices to suit them too. Outdoor seating is available for finer days.
Diners can enjoy a lovingly curated small plate seafood experience, including Cumbrae oysters served with buttermilk, dill, apple and cucumber or rhubarb & ginger mignonette.
Regional specialities include Isle of Skye landed langoustines with seaweed butter and hand-dived Barra scallop ceviche with blood orange, fennel and chili.
Other choices might include whisky & treacle cured salmon with whipped cream cheese, crispy capers and rye crackers, or coley with crispy shredded ham hock and parsley emulsion.
Looking for something other than seafood? Try out confit chicken with chickpeas, tomato, chorizo and salsa verde, or the vegan grilled sprouting broccoli with romesco sauce and smoked almond.
