About Empires

Traditional Turkish café bistro

Just off the Royal Mile on St Mary’s Street, this busy little Turkish restaurant serves everything from a quick coffee and baklava to an epic evening meal. Ideal for sharing, the mezze starters are fantastic for groups. The mezze range includes classic humus as well as more exotic dishes like the acili – toasted and crushed hazelnuts served with tomato, chill, garlic and spices. Main courses run from moussaka to meatballs.
