Moo Pie was delicious as were the pork bites and chicken wing starters.
Brilliant service and waiting staff so friendly. Excellent value for money...and you don’t have to gamble...watching for us was really interesting too.
Loved the Art Deco surroundings.

Never mentioned it was my birthday but the member of staff when I went in wished me a happy birthday and put a birthday banner on the table. Lovely touch. The 2 steak deal and a bottle of wine was great value.

The Grosvenor Casino Edinburgh, long known as The Maybury, is a lively and vibrant leisure destination on South Maybury. In addition to a comprehensive gaming experience and late night bar, it offers the Charleston Restaurant which overlooks the main gaming hall. From succulent British steaks to exciting dishes from around the world, the menu has something for all and the Art Deco architecture is just as appealing.
The restaurant’s signature grill range is right at the heart of the menu and includes a great choice of premium steaks. Each is cooked simply and served with a choice of sauce as well as salad, skin-on fries, roast plum tomato and sautéed button mushrooms. Cuts include fillet, sirloin, rump and Dukesmoor rib-eye.
The menu also offers a wide selection of dishes showcasing flavours from around the world. These include small plates such as the crispy spiced lamb dumplings, the za’atar chicken skewers and the fried calamari. The speciality roast rump of lamb was developed by Celebrity Masterchef 2017, Angelica Bell, while other options include the steamed sea bass fillets and the roast vegetable couscous.
There is also a good range of wines available, as well as quality beers and cocktails.
The Grosvenor Casino Edinburgh is on South Maybury by the Maybury roundabout. Numerous bus routes pass the venue. There is ample free parking and the staff will happily call taxis for guests. The city centre is a ten minute taxi ride.
