Lovely spa area with relaxing environment and very clean. Friendly staff. Service in the salon upstairs could have been a bit quicker.

The spa was most enjoyable, but the food was very disappointing. My friend and I both had the chicken supreme, but it was so dry we could not cut through it. When we left we had to go for something to eat. When I was paying the extra for our mud experience I mentioned to the girl who was taking the money about the chicken being so dry we could not eat it, she just answered that was a shame.

Ultra luxurious spa in Glasgow city centre
Hidden away inside the five-star Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel is a deluxe designer spa. Guests can make the most of the two relaxation pools, state-of-the-art thermal suite and nine treatment rooms. The mood lighting — from the golden-hued therapy spaces to the tranquil violets of the pools — will make you feel as if you have stepped into another world.
High-end facilities and indulgent treatments
The Thermal Experience at the Spa is a one-of-a-kind journey. You will travel through a series of therapeutic rooms, including wet and dry, warm and cold. Alternating between these different spaces will increase your blood flow, speed up physical healing and boost your mood. The Thermal Experience includes a vitality pool, hydrotherapy pool, sauna, saunarium, steam room, tepidarium, laconium and refreshing ice fountain.
Spa treatments at the Blythswood blend the power of organic raw ingredients with advanced bioscience. Both the Ishga and Murad brands are used. Facials, massages, scrubs and wraps are all available, as well as speciality therapies like a rose bath, seaweed bath and Rhassoul mud chamber experience. Some treatments are suitable for couples.
Afterwards, you can relax in the Spa Cafe with a chilled glass of bubbly or afternoon tea.
Central location, peaceful setting
Although the Spa at Blythswood Square is very conveniently located in the heart of Glasgow, the hotel itself is based in a tranquil leafy square. Sauchiehall Street is nearby and Central station is a 10-minute walk away.
